Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using CalSolo ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and CalSolo Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales.

2. Description of Service

CalSolo is a calendar aggregation platform that allows individuals to connect multiple calendar accounts (including Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, and Apple Calendar) into a single unified view. The Service includes calendar synchronisation, conflict detection, task management, and booking link features.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

4. Calendar Integrations

By connecting your calendar accounts to CalSolo, you authorise us to access and read calendar data from those accounts via their respective APIs (Google Calendar API, Microsoft Graph API, Apple CalDAV). You may revoke this access at any time by disconnecting the account from your CalSolo settings or by revoking permissions directly through your calendar provider.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its systems.
• Use automated means to access the Service beyond the intended API interfaces.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
• Resell, sublicence, or redistribute the Service without written permission.

6. Subscription Plans and Payment

• CalSolo offers both free and paid subscription plans. Details of current plans and pricing are available on our website.
• All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
• Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, depending on your chosen plan.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
• We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days' advance notice.

7. Free Trial

Paid plans may include a 14-day free trial period. No payment is taken during the trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin and you will be charged the applicable fee.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, code, and branding, is owned by CalSolo Ltd and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your calendar data and any content you create within the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CalSolo Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable advance notice. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
